## Zero Data Retention (ZDR) Mode

For clients with strict privacy requirements (federal agencies, healthcare AV, broadcast operations handling embargoed content, financial trading floors), Enterprise Whitelabel offers an optional ZDR mode.

### What ZDR Mode Does

When ZDR is on:

- **Stateless LLM calls.** Only models that do not log or store request data are used.
- **No provider-side retention.** Model providers do not retain prompts or responses.
- **Ephemeral processing.** Data is processed and immediately discarded by the model provider.

### What ZDR Mode Does Not Cover

Read this carefully:

- **Your database.** Conversation history is still stored in your dedicated AVCodex database (which you control).
- **Application logs.** Standard application logging still occurs inside your infrastructure.
- **Third-party services.** Some application-layer services (analytics, error tracking) may still process data.

ZDR ensures the model provider does not retain your data. It does not eliminate all storage. Combined with single-tenant infrastructure, it is a much stronger privacy posture than a shared platform.
