# HQ Profile

A public profile page that showcases your AVCodex agents in one place. Useful for an integrator who wants to expose a catalog of agents to their clients (room-support, programmer-onboarding, RFP-response, spec-sheet lookup), a managed-services AV firm building a service portal, or a Crestron / Q-SYS programmer publishing tools to the wider AV community.

HQ is your public profile page on AVCodex. It gives you a dedicated URL where anyone can find and use your agents. Think of it as a hub page for your AV practice.

Your HQ lives at `app.avcodex.com/hq/your-slug` and displays your branding, featured agents, and an optional intro video.

## Creating Your HQ

**1. Go to Settings**

Click **Settings** in the left sidebar, then select **HQ**.

**2. Create Your HQ**

If you don't have an HQ yet, click **Create HQ**. A default slug is generated from your name. You can customize it.

**3. Configure Your Profile**

Fill in your HQ details (next section).

**4. Add Agents**

Select which of your agents to feature on the page.

## Profile Settings

### Basic Info

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| **Name** | Display name or business name shown at the top of the page (e.g. "Pacific AV Integrators") |
| **Slug** | The URL path (`app.avcodex.com/hq/your-slug`). Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. Must be unique. |
| **Description** | A short bio or tagline describing what you build (e.g. "Crestron, Q-SYS, and Biamp programming services for higher-ed and corporate AV") |

### Branding

| Field | Description |
|-------|-------------|
| **Logo** | A square profile image at the top of your HQ page |
| **Banner** | A wide header image displayed behind your profile info |
| **Video** | A YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom URL. The video embeds on your HQ page as an introduction (a 60-second walkthrough of your services works well here) |

### Call to Action

| Field | Description |

| **CTA Text** | Button text (e.g. "Request a Design Consultation", "Book a Programming Engagement") |
| **CTA URL** | Where the button links |

The CTA button is featured prominently on your HQ page, giving visitors a clear next step.

## Featuring Agents

Your HQ page displays a grid of your agents. Manage which agents show up:

### Adding Agents

1. In the HQ settings, click **Add App**.
2. Select from your available agents across all workspaces.
3. The agent appears in your featured list.

### Reordering Agents

Drag and drop agents in the featured list to change display order. Order saves automatically.

### Removing Agents

Click the remove button next to any agent to take it off your HQ page. The agent itself is not affected. It just stops appearing on your profile.

> **Tip:** Put your strongest agent first. The featured list displays in the order you set, and the first agent gets the most attention from visitors. For an integrator's HQ, that's usually a flagship agent like "Crestron SIMPL Programming Help" or "RFP Response Drafter."

## Access Modes

Control who can see and use your HQ page:

| Mode | Description |
|------|-------------|
| **Public** | Anyone can view your HQ and use your agents. The default. |
| **Public Paid** | Anyone can view, but must pay to use the agents. |
| **Private** | Only invited users can access your HQ page (good for an integrator's internal tools hub for their programmers and field techs). |
| **Paid** | Users must purchase access to view and use your HQ. |

Change access mode in the HQ settings panel.

## Additional Options

| Setting | Description |
|---------|-------------|
| **Allow Duplicate Apps** | When enabled, visitors with an AVCodex account can duplicate your agents into their own workspace. Useful for templates and shared community tools (a Q-SYS Lua snippet helper that other programmers can fork, for example). |
| **Consumer Sharing** | When enabled, users can share links to your agents from the HQ page. |

## Sharing Your HQ

Your HQ page is available at:

Share this URL on LinkedIn, Avixa community channels, in your email signature, on your integrator's marketing site, or anywhere you want people to find your agents.

### PWA Installation

Visitors on supported browsers see an install banner prompting them to add your HQ as an app on their device. Native app experience, home-screen icon, no app store needed.

## Branding and Plan Tiers

The platform badge displayed on your HQ page depends on your plan:

| **Free** | AVCodex branding displayed prominently |
| **Builder+** | Reduced platform branding |
| **Enterprise / Whitelabel** | No platform branding, fully whitelabeled to your integrator's identity |

> **Note:** HQ is available on all plans. Upgrade to remove platform branding and unlock advanced access modes.

## Troubleshooting

### HQ Page Shows "Not Found"

1. Verify your HQ slug is set correctly in Settings.
2. Confirm the **Is Public** toggle is enabled.
3. Check the access mode. Private and Paid modes restrict visibility.

### Agents Not Appearing

1. Confirm you've added agents to the HQ in settings.
2. Verify the agents are not deleted.
3. Confirm you have access to the agents' workspaces.

### Video Not Embedding

HQ supports YouTube, Vimeo, and Loom URLs. The URL must match one of these formats:

- `https://youtube.com/watch?v=...`
- `https://youtu.be/...`
- `https://vimeo.com/...`
- `https://loom.com/share/...`

### Slug Already Taken

HQ slugs are globally unique. If your slug is taken, try adding a number or abbreviation. Slugs are limited to 40 characters.
